Hi! I’m Serenity Rani King and I am the main protagonist of “The Fantastical Life of Serenity: Epilogue”. I had appearances in “The Fantastical Life of Serenity: A collection of short stories about what could be… but not quite is” as well, though I had to share the spotlight with my other selves (Serenity Waters Altamar, Serenity Thalassa, Serenity Al-Navar (Khanna) and Serenity Natasha Karakov).
I guess I’m your typical twenty-something, at least I am now. When you met me in the first Fantastical book, I was pretty boring. My last relationship had ended three years prior. I came home from work one night and he was gone, all of his things were cleaned out and he was unreachable. I had about two dates and then nothing for almost three years. I hardly ever went out and my best friend was this girl I worked with. We weren’t actually best friends, I mean, we hung out sometimes and she was my emergency contact for work, but that was more because our mothers are best friends. I wasn’t social enough to have a real best friend. All that changed one fateful Saturday night.
They say I was only out for a short time, but I lived lifetimes! It wasn’t all fun and games, but most of it was quite awesome, which led me to decide that life’s too short to be a boring person. I started living a bit more, and I can tell you that I had some experiences during this time that were like nothing I’d ever experienced before! Not all of it was great, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade the outcome for anything!
I don’t want to say too much, most people don’t like spoilers, so if you want to know more about what I’m talking about, what I’ve been through, read The Fantastical Life of Serenity: A collection of short stories about what could be… but not quite is (you can get it on Kindle or paperback, autographed copies are available on my blog http://serenityvalleauthor.wordpress.com). After you read that one, pick up The Fantastical Life of Serenity: Epilogue (available Nov 19 for Kindle and on paperback, autographed copies will be available on my blog as well).
It was a pleasure to meet you and I hope you’ll get to know me a bit more by reading my stories!
